Erlangshen here. The Chibi Blade Liger is finally done! Yay! Expect a review from Prof. Layton soon!

Can you tell the difference between the left one and the right one? The left one is before I apply top coat while the right is after. Funny how camera didn’t really capture this as the difference is more obvious with the naked eye.

After inspecting the kit after top-coating, I decided not to paint any of the lining too much. I like as is.

Coincidently, in my experience, sometimes over painting lining can make a kit becomes ugly. That’s why at times I use pencil to add color to the panel lining. I find pencil is much softer, yet could accentuate the line in just enough shade. You might want to try this trick as if you don;t like it, you can just earse it easily too.

I also have the latest update on the MS Cage.

I started to apply more Primer (500). The usual practise is applying rough primer, inspecting and smooth out any surface and then apply softer primer and re-sand it and so on.

Afterwards, you can apply some putty to smooth out any uneven surfaces that still persist or some moderately hollow areas as well. You will need to reapply primer 500 and do the process all over again for these areas though.

Once you are satisfied, then you can move on to painting with color.
